The short version
- You don’t need an account. There is no login and no password.
- We don’t set cookies.
- Saved notices and preferences stay in your browser. If you enable alerts, we also store followed exams and saved notice IDs needed for alerts.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t show you ads based on it.
- We do not collect application fees, Aadhaar or application passwords. Photo-tool files are processed locally in your browser.
Kept only on your device
These are stored in your browser’s local storage. Alert subscriptions are the exception, explained below.
- Notices you save and exams you follow.
- Your optional name and eligibility answers: date of birth, qualification, category, state and PwBD. Your name personalises the greeting. The age and eligibility check runs on your device.
- Settings such as theme, motion and list density, and the date of your last visit.
- Photos you resize with the photo tool are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
To fetch updates, your browser asks our server about the exams you saved or follow. We answer the question and don’t store the list.
To remove all of it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Kept on our server
- Alerts, only if you turn them on. For Telegram: your Telegram chat number, your language, the exams you follow and saved notice IDs for deadline reminders. For browser notifications: the delivery address your browser gives us and its keys, your language, the exams you follow and saved notice IDs for deadline reminders. We don’t receive your phone number or name.
- “Report a mistake” messages: the notice, the fact you flagged, your text (up to 500 characters) and a short scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to stop floods of reports.
- Access logs from our delivery network (Amazon CloudFront): your internet address, the page address (including what you searched for), the time and your browser type. They are kept for 30 days to keep the site working and safe, then deleted.
- Your internet address is also used for a moment to limit very heavy use. It is not stored for that.
Who else handles data
- Amazon Web Services runs our servers (in India) and keeps our backups (in Australia).
- Telegram delivers Telegram alerts. Your browser’s push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple) delivers browser notifications.
- An AI service (Anthropic’s Claude) reads official notice documents for us. No visitor data is sent to it.
How long we keep it
- Alert details: until you turn alerts off. Backups roll over within 7 days after that.
- Access logs: 30 days.
- “Report a mistake” messages: as long as we need them to check and correct notices.

- Turn alerts off on the Alerts page, or send /stop to our Telegram bot. This deletes your alert details.
